Winter sports paradise
A contemplative discipline
The silence of the Dolomites will accompany you along snow-covered tracks and circuits, through whitewashed woods and hills and the sparkling mountain air. The Val di Fassa offers Nordic ski enthusiasts more than 50 km of tracks leading you through amazing panoramas, suitable for freestyle or classic techniques. You can also practice your favourite sport in the evening, enjoying a magical, relaxing atmosphere, thanks to our modern lighting systems. Home of the legendary Marcialonga, the Val di Fassa is undoubtedly a favourite destination.
Accompanied trips and excursions
Hotel Medil offers its guests endless, enjoyable opportunities to spend time together in the snow. Group ski excursions are organized every day for nature and sport lovers. Unforgettable tours along exciting panoramic routes await you. There is no better way to have fun, than spend your holiday getting to know new people who share your passion for the snow and the pristine nature of the Dolomite Ladin.
Thousands of opportunities for fun
For a winter packed full of excitement the Val di Fassa offers a multitude of opportunities for leisurely fun. If you want to experience the high-altitude thrill of a winter descent, hang gliding or paragliding are both excellent choices, together, perhaps, with an unforgettable experience ice-climbing on the frozen walls of a mountain waterfall. For those who instead, would like to test their endurance and skill, alpine and off-slope skiing are two interesting alternatives. In the evening, indulge in a relaxing skate on the ice in one of the many rinks; a fitting end to rewarding day.
We stayed 8 nights at this hotel in two interconnected rooms (2 adults, 2 kids). The rooms were just refurbished, i guess, everything was brand new, the bathrooms had been re-painted but not refurbished, but were more than ok. Lovely balcony in both rooms on the 3rd floor. I liked the position of the hotel just near the col rodella cable car, the big garden hosting a small playground, the pool and the spa center, the ample parking possibility. A real plus was the dinner, really excellent food, and the amazing staff, an incredible set of young people always ready to please you, we were all amazed. They also organise daily excursions and activities for kids. There is a quite large common area on the ground floor which is good for a drink before dinner or to relax playing cards in a rainy day. On the negative side not much, perhaps a sofa in the room would have been useful, also as there was space enough and some more local cheese at breakfast would have been nice, to go along with the very nice speck and the reach variety of cakes.
Hotel was good with very nice, friendly staff. Facilities were good and we took advantage of the pool etc which was very welcome after a full days skiing. Good location with a short walk to the cable car. What really made the holiday was Daniele, the hotel ski guide. We skied for 5 of our 6 days with him, being taken to areas we probably would not have discovered ourselves. It's a big ski area and if you are of a good intermediate standard and want to get the best out of this area having a ski guide to show you around is a real advantage and great fun. Full marks to the hotel for providing this complimentary service! I hope to be back next time with my family
We are two families that stayed for ski vocation in the Medil hotel. Everything was great: the room is clean, and comfortable, the staff is very nice, the meals are tasty and even well adapted for vegetarian. The spa is well equipped and after 6:30 even quiet. The hotel is situated in 5 min walking from the lift. Due to the fact that there is no ski in ski out possibility in Campitello, this hotel is the best choice for the ski vocation.
